The new discourse on the prohibition of cars above 1,400 cc is filled Pertalite It is expected to hit a lot of people, considering how popular cars of that class are in Indonesia.
Of the 10 best-selling cars in 2021, seven of them are cars above 1,400cc. The seven are Toyota Avanza, Mitsubishi Xpander, Suzuki Carry, Toyota Rush, Toyota Kijang Innova, Daihatsu Gran Max pickup, and Mitsubishi L300.

While the three that do not fall into the category are Honda Brio, Daihatsu Sigra and Toyota Calya. They are all Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) products that use a maximum engine of 1,200cc.
The ban on using Pertalite for cars above 1,400cc was previously revealed by Sales Abdurrahman, BPH Migas Committee on Friday (2/9).
He said the ban would be contained in the revision of presidential regulation (Perpres) No. 191 of 2014 relating to the price of supply, distribution and retail sale of BBM.
The revised regulation is said to be presented by the SOE Ministry to President Joko Widodo for signature. Once signed, it can be released and asserted.
