Six countries have confirmed that they will qualify for the last 16 2023 Asian Cup until Tuesday (23/1) early morning WIB. The following is a list of six countries that have qualified for the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup.
A total of six national teams have confirmed that they will advance to the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup as of Tuesday (23/1) early morning WIB.
The Tajikistan national team is the latest team to hold a ticket to the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup.
This certainty was obtained after Tajikistan won 2-1 over Lebanon in the final Group A match which was held at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, Al Rayyan, Tuesday (23/1) early morning WIB.
This victory made Tajikistan finish in second place in Group A with four points from the three matches played.
Previously, Qatar, Australia, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia were the five teams that advanced to the knockout stages of this year’s Asian Cup.
Qatar successfully qualified for the round of 16 with a perfect score of nine after sweeping three Group A matches with a win.
Australia has confirmed qualification for the last 16 after winning their first two matches in Group B.
Then Iran has also locked its ticket to the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup after winning two Group C matches.
Iraq has also secured a ticket to the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup after winning two Group D matches consisting of Indonesia, Japan and Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has also qualified for the last 16 after winning two matches in Group F.
