A total of 14 national teams are happy after qualification Asian Cup U-20 2023 with some of them winners and runners-up in the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup qualifying group in Uzbekistan.
On Sunday (18/9) nine groups completed the qualifying round. From the group stage, nine teams emerged as group winners, including the Indonesian Under-20 national team of Group F.
The Indonesian U-20 national team won Group F after beating Vietnam 3-2 dramatically at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya. The win earned Garuda Muda nine points in three games.

While the other four teams became the best runners-up. A total of 13 teams that made it through the qualifying round were equipped with Uzbekistan as the host.
With 14 national teams securing tickets to the finals, there are now only two places left for teams from other countries to complete the 16 teams of the U-20 Asian Cup next year.
The remaining two tickets will compete for the winner of Group H, one of the best runners-up. Group H, which includes Iraq, Australia, India and Kuwait, will hold a qualifying match in Kuwait in October.
Currently, Thailand U-20 is the team that occupies the last place as best second after collecting six points in Group G.
Thailand will qualify for the 2023 Asian U-20 Cup if they win head-to-head against Group H runners-up. On the other hand, Thailand will not qualify if they lose head-to-head against Group H runners-up.
The 2023 Under-20 Asian Cup will take place in Uzbekistan from 1 to 18 March 2023. The four finalists of the 2023 Under-20 Asian Cup will have their share of appearing in the 2023 Under-20 World Cup which will take place in Indonesia.
