Lisa Kudrow has revealed that she loves the idea of a reboot of the cult series “Friends” … but with new actors.
Since the reunion of all the actors last year, fans of the legendary series “Friends” have been hoping for a potential reboot. Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay for 236 episodes, was asked about it. “I don’t think there will be a ‘Friends’ reboot, not with us in it anyway,” she said on the microphone of “Where is the Buzz “. But the 58-year-old actress nevertheless revealed that she would even appreciate a new casting. “I would love to see that. I would love to see what the current version of our series would look like. But for the actress, it is up to the creators, Marta Kauffman and David Crane to “decide”. “I’ve heard them say before that they ended the show in a good way and I completely agree with them.”
Last year, the six protagonists of the series came together on the set to return to the soap opera that transformed their lives. Lisa Kudrow was joined by Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer. Jennifer Aniston had also confided to the magazine “The Hollywood Reporter having been so overwhelmed with emotions during the reunion, that she was forced to leave filming several times. “Everything was very disturbing and, of course, you have cameras everywhere (…) I am already a little emotionally sensitive, so I had to go out at times. I don’t know how they managed to cut it all off.”
