FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR — Stabbing his own colleague, a man named Ilham (32) had to deal with the police on Saturday (18/11/2023).
From information obtained by dawn.co.id, the stabbing incident which resulted in the loss of one life occurred in Tamalate sub-district, Makassar city.
The perpetrator is known to have killed his friend using a kitchen knife while drinking.
Head of Sub-Directorate 2 Jatanras Polrestabes Makassar Ipda Nasrullah said the victim died due to two stab wounds which lodged in the left chest and right stomach.
Receiving a report regarding this personality, Nasrullah said that his party immediately carried out an investigation.
The Makassar Police Jatanras Unit together with Tamalate Police personnel pursued the perpetrator in one of the residential areas in Tamalate District.
At his hiding place in the housing complex, the perpetrator was arrested by the police.
“The perpetrator we arrested was the perpetrator of the stabbing,” said Nasrullah, Sunday (19/11/2023).
Nasrullah said that the perpetrator stabbed the victim twice until he died.
“So initially the victim always taunted the perpetrator with inappropriate words that made the perpetrator emotional,” he said.
Due to the taunts, said Nasrullah, a commotion broke out which ended in a stabbing.
“The perpetrator came with a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim. As evidence, one knife was used to stab the victim,” he said.
Nasrullah said that currently the perpetrator has been handed over to the Tamalate Police for further processing.
