Liptovský Mikuláš has hired a new reinforcement at the goalkeeper, and Tomáš Vošvrda ends up at

Slovak hockey club MHk 32 Liptovský Mikuláš hired 30-year-old goalkeeper Yevgeny Ivannikova. In the new position, he will replace the Czech Tomáš Vošvrda, who has agreed with the management of the Liptovs to end the cooperation. The Tipos Extraliga participant informed about the changes on the official website.

Ivannikov has so far worked in the Russian KHL and VHL competitions. He also caught in both competitions during the current 2021/2022 season. In the KHL, he entered the Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk in 3 matches, in which he had an 87.1 percent success rate and an average of 2.71 goals collected per match. In 10 matches in the Iževska jersey, he had an average of 3.08 and a 90.1 percent success rate.

Vošvrda came to Liptovský Mikuláš after three years in Poprad. In the current season 2021/2022 he started in 25 matches. He achieved a 90.0 percent success rate, averaging 3.28 goals per game, and twice picked up a clean sheet.

The club from Liptov recently also hired Finnish striker Atte Karppinen. In addition to them, Czech Petr Obdržálek, Finns Aleksi Varttinen and Sameli Ventelä, Poliak Kamil Walega, Latvian Arturs Salija and Russians Maxim Čuvilov and Alexander Šepelev also have the status of legionnaires.
