Inter Miami still has a chance of qualifying for the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States.
MLS is beginning to filter out the two alternatives it is considering to define the spot that FIFA has granted it for the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States.
The main option being considered is to give the spot to the league champion in 2024.
The second is that they play a final, where the place for the Club World Cup would be at stake, between the MLS champion and the winner of the US Open Cup.
This means that Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will still have a chance of qualifying for the tournament that FIFA will organise between June 15 and July 13 of next year.
They could have achieved it through the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup, but they lost in the Quarterfinals to Monterrey.
