World champion Lionel Messi against Cristiano Ronaldo: The duel between the superstars will take place on February 1, 2024 in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh.
Messi’s club Inter Miami confirmed the date of the friendly match against Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, and the Major League Soccer (MLS) team will also play Al-Hilal on January 29th.
Messi and Ronaldo faced each other for the first time in 2008. From 2009 to 2018, when the Portuguese Ronaldo played for Real Madrid and Messi played for FC Barcelona, the duel took place several times a year.
The debate over which of the two is the bigger and better footballer has plagued fans for years.
