And these same commercials now cost a fortune. The reason: The NFL final is the most-watched TV event in the USA year after year. And Messi? He takes the coal game to the top and doubles the whole thing. According to “Sportbible”, 60 seconds of advertising with the superstar costs an incredible 14 million euros. That works out to 233,000 euros per second.

But what for anyway? Messi appears in front of the camera for the American beer “Michelob Ultra”. In a teaser you can see him ordering the barley juice at a bar. The clip will then be shown in full length at the Super Bowl.

By the way: This year the Super Bowl takes place on the night of February 11th to 12th. For the first time, the most important NFL game of the season will take place in Las Vegas. There the Kansas City Chiefs will meet the San Francisco 49ers. R&B superstar Usher will appear on the halftime show.
