Lionel Messi is Reportedly Moving to Saudi Arabia – Record Salary Awaits

Lionel Messi is undoubtedly one of the best football players of our time. Allegedly, his time at Paris Saint-Germain is now over and he should continue to prove his talent in Saudi Arabia. He is said to be richly rewarded for this.

Lionel Messi is said to be moving to Saudi Arabia: he is getting a record salary

Like various media, including the Focus and the Express, report that Lionel Messi (who has a certain lucky charm) is a done deal. The Argentinian exceptional talent is said to end up in Saudi Arabia.

Probably not in Europe next season

The news agency has an unspecified source AFP reveal that “Messi deal is sealed; he will play in Saudi Arabia next season”. Supposedly only final details should be discussed.

Should the source be reliable, Messi could make the deal of his life. The 35-year-old is said to collect 400 million euros a year (according to Focus there is talk of “500 to 600 million euros over two years”); that would be a new record in football circles.

Messi has already visited

One thing is clear: Messi has already gotten a little taste of what life could be like there. He recently traveled to the desert state, for which he also acts as a tourism ambassador, for a short vacation.

However, this has consequences for him: Paris Saint-Germain then suspended him, like them HE DOES reported. Allegedly, he was not allowed to take part in the training and recorded a loss of wages for the two weeks. If the potentially new club in Saudi Arabia really beckons him with the record salary mentioned, he should be able to get over it.
