Lionel Messi was hissed at by some of his own fans in the Prinzenpark at the weekend. According to PSG coach Christophe Galtier, supporters’ displeasure is directed at the wrong person.
Paris Saint-Germain suffered a home defeat in Ligue 1 at the weekend. The league leaders lost 1-0 to Olympique Lyon. Parts of the fans have apparently identified a culprit in Lionel Messi.
Messi was hissed at. From your own appendix. And sometimes even before kick-off. Christophe Galtier complains: “The whistles against Leo Messi are very hard.” According to the PSG coach, there is nothing wrong with the commitment of the world footballer: “Leo is a player who gives a lot.”
Messi is still the same player as in the first half of the season. “He gave us a lot in the first part of the season too, but it’s also up to the other players to show something,” Galtier said.

Sergio Ramos and Neymar were absent
In the duel against the former series champion (Olympique Lyon dominated Ligue 1 from 2002 to 2008), the superstars Neymar and Sergio Ramos were absent due to injury, as they were in the home defeat against Rennes before the international break.
The pressure on Christophe Galtier, who was already high after losing the Champions League round of 16 against Bayern, is increasing. The once very comfortable lead over the pursuers Lens and Olympique Marseille has melted to six points. There are still nine game days to go.
