“It would be like a movie. He would have to come to training with a sh … helicopter because people would eat him alive for joy. ”
That is what Kevin-Prince Boateng (33) says about Lionel Messi (33) and his personal dream of changing for the Barça star.
The Berliner played for six months in Barcelona at the side of the six-time world footballer in 2019 and reveals in an interview with “ESPN” where he would like to see him play soon.
Boateng: “Messi’s contract with Barcelona ends. How great it would be if he just called Napoli and said, ‘I’ll come’. “
And further: “You no longer award the 10. If Messi were to say I would like to honor Maradonas 10 and come to Naples for a year or two without thinking about money or anything, just from the bottom of my heart. “

Boateng not only knows Messi well, he also knows Italy. He is currently playing in Serie B for Berlusconi Club Monza and lives with his family in Milan.
Boateng: “Just this story: ‘In honor of Maradona, I will come and play for Naples’ – what kind of story would that be for the world, not just for football, for the world?”
Napoli legend and Messi compatriot Diego Maradona († 60) died on November 25th in Buenos Aires. He was Messi’s coach on the Argentina national team. He wore the Napoli jersey from 1984 to 1991 and is an icon in the city. The stadium has just been named after him.
