Linzer called for the murder of Chancellor Kurz

Because the hackers regulation fell, a Linz native demanded the death of Sebastian Kurz. Now he faces imprisonment.

A report that, for once, has nothing to do with Corona – but it is of a certain explosive nature: A 45-year-old local will have to answer the regional court in Linz next week for calling for the murder of Chancellor Sebastian Kurz on Facebook. He also commented on another user’s site for a similar mood using knife and sword emojis.

According to the indictment, it was a “request for a punishable act and approval” as well as a violation of the media law.

The defendant faces up to two years in prison. Incidentally, his displeasure was caused by the abolition of the hacking regulation.
