Linz experiences problems before international matches due to lawns.

Before the two European Championship qualifiers against Azerbaijan (March 24) and Estonia (March 27) in Linz, the lawn of the new Raiffeisen Arena recently caused negative headlines. ÖFB Managing Director Bernhard Neuhold took note of this. Those responsible for LASK had promised “to use a large number of human resources and technical aids in order to be able to offer the best possible conditions,” said Neuhold. A lawn swap has “currently no point”.

The international matches in the new Linz stadium are practically sold out. According to Neuhold, “a few remaining tickets” for the duel with Azerbaijan are available from 2 p.m. on Wednesday, and there are still around 1,000 tickets for the Estonia match.
