LINZ. The Linz company Gfrerer Isolierwerk was awarded the Julius Award of the Upper Austrian Economic Association. The company from the construction industry offers solutions for every area of insulation technology.
This includes heat, cold, sound and fire insulation such as heating and ventilation systems as well as noise protection. “For the company, it is a matter of course to manufacture products of the highest quality in terms of resource-conscious use of energy. The natural resources of this world are also not available to us in unlimited quantities. It must therefore be our priority, in the interests of future generations, to use them sensibly and use them sparingly, ”says Managing Director Martin Greiner, who runs the company with around 60 employees in the third generation. The Gfrerer Isolierwerk was founded in 1955 by Josef Gfrerer, and the company has been located on the Linz industrial site since 1964.
More than 200 nominations
With the Julius Award, the Upper Austrian Economic Association brings quality companies to the fore. Awards are given, for example, to commitment to growth, employment and prosperity in the country. It is named after the founding father of the Upper Austrian Economic Association, Julius Raab (1945), who wanted to preserve traditional values, a strong economy and prosperity for everyone. “The Julius Award stands for quality. We are pleased that so many have already taken the initiative and that we have now received more than 200 nominations for this award, ”said Doris Hummer, President of the Upper Austrian Economic Association and the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, at the award ceremony. What companies and their employees do for the region deserve awards, added the Linz Economic Association district chairman Markus Raml.
