Linz collects thousands of in-kind donations for Linz

The major donation campaign “Linz for Linz” concludes on Friday. Mayor Klaus Luger (SP) and municipal manager Ulrike Huemer have already handed over a large part of the collected food, pet supplies and shoeboxes, filled with donations, to the charities. “It’s a good sign when so many people stand up for their fellow citizens and bring relief to families who are feeling the financial pressure most in everyday life right now,” says Luger.

Great willingness to help

Huemer thanked the magistrate’s employees in particular. “This also shows that the city council really cares about the well-being of the citizens of Linz,” says Huemer.
