Strong starting debut and praised by Marcus Berg.

Then Linus Carlstrand comes with a promise.

– My first goal will come against Bajen on Sunday, he says with a smile.

He had Alexander Milosevic at his back for large parts of the 2–2 match against AIK. Not an easy challenge for an 18-year-old Allsvenskan starting debutant to handle.

– It was difficult with receiving players. I have never met anyone as good as Alex Milosevic. It was very fun. It’s tough because he’s there all the time, stabbing. He knows what he needs to do and is smart. So I learn from it.

After a, as he says himself, “puppy” first half, Carlstrand took over after the break. Most memorable was the push past Robin Tihi and the fine shot that Elias Hagen missed.

– That was nice. It actually felt quite easy to pass him. For once you slipped by, it’s not often.

“He is one of the best in history”

Carlstrand got a place in the starting eleven when Marcus Berg was ill this week. Afterwards, Blåvitt’s star gave warm praise to his young teammate.

– He is good and grows into it in the second half. He is strong, fast, technical and has a good finish. Linus is doing a great job and should be very proud of his effort, especially as it is the first start.

– It was close today, says Carlstrand and makes a spontaneous promise.

– The goal will come against Bajen if I get to play. It’s coming more and more to me now. As long as I take chances, it will sit in the end.
