Linssen is open to foreign countries and wants to close with old love

8:15 – Bryan Linssen is open to looking beyond the borders in the future. The 31-year-old Feyenoord attacker is enjoying himself in the Netherlands, but would also like to try it abroad. Moreover, he has the plan to end his career at his old club.

The 31-year-old Linssen feels fit and plans to play football for another five to six years, he tells Football International† “Before that happens, I would like to go abroad again. After this season I have another year at Feyenoord, then it would be possible, although I will of course also leave all options open here. I feel so fit that I I plan to continue for another five or six years.”

He wants to spend his last years at VVV-Venlo. “I grew up at that club. I was two years old when my brother started playing there. Later I came to play football myself. I know every place there, I still have contacts with the people who work there. It is my second home. So if you talk about a circle, it would be completely round when I close at VVV.”

Linssen made his debut as a professional football player at Fortuna Sittard and then played for MVV Maastricht, but only really caught the attention as a player for VVV. There he earned a transfer to Heracles. Via FC Groningen and Vitesse, he ended up at Feyenoord in 2020, where he is the first striker this season.
