The incident took place late at night. Grimstvedt tells Dagbladet that he and his colleagues were quite drunk and that he chose to return to the hotel before the others. He went wrong and ended up in what he describes as a “strange street”.

No one would help
When the “Dream Prince” participant came to himself again, he was full of blood, and felt that things were not quite as they should be in his mouth. It turned out that he had not only been beaten, but also stabbed in the mouth.
The 30-year-old says he tried to get to the hotel by taxi.
– No one would stop. So I had to stand in the middle of the road and physically stop a taxi, then, but he did not want me either, says Grimstvedt and adds:

– So I thought “if I hit the side window of the car, then he probably drives to the police, at least”. But he did not, he just ran away.
Grimstvedt says that he finally got hitched by someone who drove him to the hotel. Then he stopped by the colleague who lived in the room next door.
– Then I took a sip from a bottle of Jack Daniels, but it just ran out of my mouth.

With four teeth smaller, it was difficult to keep your mouth shut, explains the “Dream Prince” participant.
Then an ambulance was called and he received medical help. When he finally got to the hospital he had to sew, and when he returned home to Norway he had to seek medical help again.
– When I got home I had to pull out some remnants of the teeth, Grimstvedt says, and adds that he has had some screws inserted.

Has phantom pain
The front teeth he lost are still attached to a splint he can take in and out. This is because he is struggling with his palate and is waiting to have this solution replaced with new teeth.

– I’m waiting for the palate to settle better. Everything is ready to have new teeth inserted.
– Do you still have any pain?
– I have phantom pain, it hurts in the teeth that are not there, says the 30-year-old and adds that it is very strange.
– When I get it, I just have to focus on something else. It’s not insanely painful, just annoying, Grimstvedt follows up.
