Linni Meister has to dump one of her suitors already in the first episode. Watch the tearful moment in the video below:
Linni Meister (36) is currently seeking love on television in the program «Linni seeks the dream prince», where ten hopeful men have signed up hoping to win Meister’s heart.
One of them is 35-year-old Audun Vhile, but his stay in Kragerø was not as long as hoped.

Already in the first episode, which was released on Discovery + and TVNorge on Monday, Meister had to dump one of his suitors. And the suitor who had to go home first became Vhile.
– I did not mind breaking out. I lost a little interest in her, but I would rather not be the first to be sent home. It’s hard to be the one who smokes first. It’s small, the 35-year-old tells Nettavisen and laughs.
Thought the reaction was false
Linni Meister follows in the footsteps of Jan Thomas (55), as in 2020 found love with Harlem Alexander (34) through the program «Jan Thomas seeks the dream prince».
The 55-year-old is leading the program this year, and already in the first episode you can see that the celebrity stylist does not hide that the recording will evoke many emotions. And it is clear that it does so during the first “dumping”.
Meister sheds tears and repeatedly apologizes to Vhile, who reveals to Nettavisen that he thought Meister’s tears were acting. But it was not.

– I thought she “fake” it, says the 35-year-old and continues:
– I just thought «oh my god, she’s a good actress. I said that to the production as well, because it looked very real. But then they told me she cried backstage, too. So it was really just nice that she brought tears to my eyes, he says.
– But I still do not understand why, because I do not understand why there should be any feelings there. She met me, thought I was a little arrogant, and sent me home.
– Deserved I had to go
During the dumping, Meister tells Vhile that she feels the two have acquired a more friendly tone than that romance had arisen between them – something he himself felt relatively early on.
– I never thought I had a chance on her anyway. She is «way out of my league». I also could not quite imagine what life would be like if it were the two of us, as I at that time had a relatively poorly paid job in Sørlandet and could barely afford to buy a bus ticket to Oslo. Now I have got a new job and moved to the capital, but there and then I did not quite see how it could work, he says.

In other words, Vhile did not fully imagine that there could be any romance between the two, something he realized when he asked Meister where she would travel if she could go anywhere in the world. The answer was not what he envisioned.
– Then she answered the Kiel boat, and then I was a little disappointed, he says.
– If you dream of drinks in the bar on the Kiel boat, then I do not think we are a match, he adds with a laugh.
Nevertheless, Audun Vhile would like to stay a little longer.
– I think Linni is very cool, and it would have been cool to be with a little longer … But now I got to show myself from my most arrogant side – so it was perhaps deserved that I had to go.

– And had it not been me first, then it would have been someone else. I would rather smoke first than second last, because the chances are high that if you get far, there are emotions involved when you are dumped. And it sucks. So I would rather be in my situation, because then there is no bitterness. Now I can give Linni a hug if I meet her – and that’s very nice, he says.
Traveled from his dying dog
Vhile also says that he was never 100 percent invested in the whole process around TV dating.
When Nettavisen met the suitors before the recording, he could tell that he had traveled from his dog, a 14-year-old pug. Just two days before he went to Kragerø, he was told that there was a great chance that the dog would not be alive before he returned home from the TV recording.
– I was always afraid that the production would come and tell me that he was dead. So maybe I did not have my head in the right place – because I thought about it all the time.
However, since he was sent home so early, Vhile managed to see the pug Frank again before he died.
– He died a few weeks after I came home. So we made a trip to Lofoten together and had some good days before he died, assures Vhile – who has since tattooed the dog’s paw.
