The Swedes got their revenge at Kristine Stavås Skistad.
In the sprint in Canmore, the Norwegian was beaten in the final by Linn Svahn – who sent a pass at the finish line.
– It wasn’t for anyone, but it was a kiss, she says in TV6.
A few days ago, Kristine Stavå’s Skistad defeated the Swedish sprint ladies and then blew a kiss to the competitors when she crossed the finish line.
Today, Linn Svahn took revenge on the Norwegian.
In the final – which, in addition to Skistad and Svahn, consisted of Jonna Sundling, Kerttu Niskanen, Maja Dahlqvist and Emma Ribom – it was all about three skaters.

Svahn, Sundling and Stavås Skistad were in a class of their own and made up the long race in Canmore, Canada.
Svahn was strongest and took his sixth World Cup victory of the season. There behind, it was decided on a finish photo and despite the same time, the Norwegian was judged second.
– That was nice. I did well on Saturday, but there is nothing better than winning. I was hungry today, but it’s the team effort that makes it. The way we ski today is impressive. Jonna is a monster who just plows on, says the winner to TV6.
Svahn also took the opportunity to offer a double kiss when she crossed the finish line. Possibly as a response to Skistad’s gesture from last time?
– I can’t just cross the finish line and walk over comfortably. It wasn’t for anyone, but it was a kiss, she says.
A stern-sailed Dahlqvist finished fifth and Ribom finished last in the final.
