“We’re trying to pick up where we left off, but at the same time we want the band to have a new sound,” Linkin Park claims, and that’s exactly what they’re coming up with. The new voice of the group is the thirty-eight-year-old native of California, Emily Armstrong. She will sing in the group together with Mike Shinoda, who founded the band in 1996.

The six-member formation also has a new drummer, Colin Brittain. At a special Linkin Park concert broadcast live, which selected fans could watch directly in LA, the new line-up performed not only a new single, but also their biggest hits.

The group, which combines rock and rap, was the most commercially successful at the turn of the millennium, also thanks to the vocals of Chester Bennington. But he committed suicide at the age of 41 in 2017. By then, Linkin Park had sold millions of records worldwide and won two Grammy Awards.

Linkin Park are now coming out with a new album called From Zero, which will be released on November 15th. Fans will find 11 new songs on it. The group will play six concerts before the end of the year. In Europe it will be in Hamburg and London.
