Lingerie brand Rihanna may go to New York stock exchange

Singer Rihanna is considering taking her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty to the New York stock exchange, Bloomberg news agency reports on the basis of insiders. According to the sources, if she actually opts for an IPO, the company could have a price tag of 3 billion dollars, converted about 2.7 billion euros.

Savage X Fenty raised $125 million from investors in a financing round early this year. For the possible move to Wall Street, the help of large investment banks is said to have been called in. Although Rihanna does not seem to have made a decision yet, the stock exchange listing could be a fact before the end of the year.

The 34-year-old singer scored hits with songs such as Umbrella, Diamonds and Pon de Replay. It has been known for some time that Rihanna, born in Barbados, is also very successful in business in addition to her singing career. According to business magazine Forbes, she was already a billionaire last year. She owes this mainly to her beauty line Fenty Beauty. She also has Fenty Skin that focuses on skincare products.
