MANCHESTER – Jesse Lingard reportedly not happy anymore Manchester United. The Red Devils coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, also opened his voice regarding the news.
Solskjaer confirmed the news and said Lingard was indeed not happy playing at Man United. Solskjaer’s lack of playing time is one of the main reasons.
“Jesse is not happy because he hasn’t played much at the moment. I think it’s natural for him to feel that way,” said Solskjaer.

Solskjaer himself confirmed the competition to become a starter in the Man United squad is very tight. However, according to him appearing from the bench and being a differentiator for the team is also not a bad thing.
“Jesse (Lingard) came off the bench and made a positive impact on this team. That’s what I expect from him,” continued Solksjaer.
As is known, Lingard himself only returned to Man United in the 2021 summer transfer market yesterday. This happened after his loan spell at West Ham United ended.
However, the English midfielder did not get much playing time with Man United. Lingard is difficult to replace Bruno Fernandes as the main playmaker for the Red Devils.
In fact, Lingard’s performance with Man United this season is not so bad. In the Premier League alone, Lingard has scored two goals in the three matches he has played.
One of his goals against West Ham on September 19 yesterday even made Man United manage to steal three points from the Hammers headquarters. Seeing the increase in Lingard’s performance, Solskjaer seems to have to start considering installing the 28-year-old player more often.
