Indonesia managed to qualify for the 2022 Thomas Cup semifinals after defeating China in the quarter-final match which took place at Impact Arena, Nonthaburi-Thailand, Thursday (12/5).
The Indonesian Thomas Cup team will then face Japan on Friday (13/5). Japan confirmed a ticket to the semifinals after ending Taiwan’s fierce resistance in the quarter-finals which took place at the Impact Arena, Nonthaburi, Thursday (12/5).
Japan managed to beat Taiwan with a thin score of 3-2 after in that match they had trailed 1-2.
Now Indonesia is ready to field the best squad to face Japan in the semifinals of the 2022 Thomas Cup on Friday (13/5) starting at 18.00 WIB. The following is the line-up for Indonesia vs Japan in the Thomas Cup semifinals.
Anthony Sinisuka Ginting will play in the first match against Japanese men’s singles Kento Momota.
Then the men’s doubles Mohammad Ahsan / Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo will face the pair Takuro Hoki / Yugo Kobayashi in the second party.
In the third party, as usual, Indonesia will field Jonathan Christie. Jojo will meet Kenta Nishimoto.
Then in the fourth party in the men’s doubles, Fajar Alfian / Muhammad Rian Ardianto are ready to challenge Akira Koga / Yuta Watanabe. In the last match, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito will face Kodai Naraoka.
