Line of credit for wine SMEs | Promoted by Agriculture, Production and the government of La Rioja

The Ministries of Productive Development and Agriculture, together with the government of La Rioja, announced that the Harvest 2022 financing line is operational until June 30, aimed at micro, small and medium-sized wine companies (MSMEs) in that province. .

The total amount of the line developed to finance expenses for harvesting, transporting grapes and making wine products from the 2022 harvest for MSMEs in the province is 300 million dollars and will grant credits with a discounted rate of 26% per year and a term of return of up to 300 days.

The announcement of this line with a subsidized rate by the National Productive Development Fund (Fondep) and the province was made during the official launch of the harvest in the Chilecito department.

The 2022 Harvest line is aimed at individuals and legal entities from La Rioja who have the current Mipyme Certificate and who participate in the harvest and transport of grapes and the production of wine products during this year; and offers an amount equivalent to 2,000 minimum wages, vital and mobile.

The Fondep of the Ministry of Productive Development subsidizes seven points of the rate and is complemented with another seven that the province of La Rioja subsidizes, so it is left with a final rate of 26 percent per year. “Together with the governor of La Rioja we have the political decision to accompany each strategic productive sector, in this case the harvest, with financing and funds for rate subsidies,” said the head of Productive Development, Matías Kulfas.

In this sense, Governor Ricardo Quintela stressed that the province “is chosen by businessmen, investors and producers to invest, and thus generate wealth, exportable products, foreign exchange for the country and fundamentally genuine work for the people of La Rioja”. For his part, the secretary of Small and Medium Enterprises and Entrepreneurs, Guillermo Merediz, pointed out that “Fondep resources continue to be allocated to facilitate access to credit for one of the strategic value-added sectors for the country.”
