This feature groups conversations into folders so that they are easier to find. LINE divides them into several categories such as ‘All’, ‘Friends’, ‘Groups’, ‘Official Accounts’ and ‘OpenChat’ in the Chat or Chats menu. That way users can prioritize which chat is opened first.
In order to be able to turn on the Chat Folder feature, users can tap the settings icon at the top right of the main or home screen. After that, click LINE Labs. Find ‘Chat Folder’ or ‘Chat Features’ in LINE Labs, then slide the teggle until it turns green.
Later LINE will automatically create a folder in Chats or Chat. But the user cannot rename the folder.
Currently the Chat Folder feature is available to use in Indonesia for Android or iOS users. It’s just that before using this feature, users are required to use the LINE application version 10.19.0 and above. (Yni)
