LINE Developer Academy Scholarship has been opened, here are the terms and how to apply

KONTAN.CO.ID – Today, 16 November 2020, LINE Indonesia announced the LINE Developer Academy 2020 scholarship program in collaboration with Dicoding Indonesia.

LINE Developer Academy is a scholarship program for Indonesian citizens who are interested in learning to build a LINE Chatbot and LINE Front-end Framework.

This scholarship program is open without any conditions. Registration for the LINE Developer Academy 2020 scholarship program is open from 16 to 30 November 2020.

While the announcement of scholarship recipients will be notified on December 4, 2020, and the scholarship recipient’s study period will be open from the day of announcement until January 5, 2021.

To date, the number of students registered for the LINE Developer Academy 2020 scholarship program is 14,943.

LINE Developer Academy training materials

There are two training materials for LINE Developer Academy:

1. Learn to Build a LINE Front-end Framework (LIFF)

In this class you will learn the LIFF framework from LINE in which you can run web applications without having to install additional applications or leave the LINE platform.

In addition, this latest version of LIFF supports ScanQR Code. Users can scan QR codes directly on the LIFF application without having to install additional applications.

2. Learn to Build a LINE Chatbot

In this class you will learn to build a Chatbot product that can run on the LINE Messenger platform. Through this Chatbot, you can create a Chatbot application using the Java, PHP, Go, Perl, Ruby, and Node.js languages.

If you are interested in one or both of the Scholarship classes, please apply immediately. Choose 1 or 2 classes according to your interests and commitments.

You must study and complete the scholarship class until you graduate. If you fail to complete the elective class, you will not be awarded a scholarship in the next program.
