NRK denies that the popular presenter is exposed to relocation or demotion. Andersen herself believes that work with, among other things, the internet and mobile goes beyond the framework of her employment contract.

It attracted attention when it became known in February that NRK-sport’s profile Line Andersen (47) has filed a private lawsuit against his employer.
Until now, both parties have been sparse with information about what the conflict is about.
Now, however, both have submitted their final submissions ahead of the trial, which starts on 18 May.

It describes the relocation as having “a clear element of degradation and humiliation”.

NRK’s lawyers, on the other hand, disagree with the description of the relocation and write in the final post that the decision was made as a result of Andersen’s behavior and influence on the psychosocial work environment in Sporten.
«As an employer, NRK has a duty to take care of the working environment of the employees of NRK, cf. the Working Environment Act § 4-3. The work must be arranged so that the employees are not exposed to unfortunate physical or mental strain. The working environment in Sporten has for several years been characterized by unrest and conflict related to Line Andersen’s behavior and influence on other employees. The management has raised this with Andersen, without it leading to any change. “

NRK denies that Andersen is exposed to relocation or demotion.
“The case has been handled as a personnel matter. Consequently, there is no notification case and no basis for the allegation of unlawful retaliation. “
– Tough
It has so far been clear that Andersen and her lawyer believe that NRK’s actions constitute an invalid termination of change. She also demands compensation.
At Arbeidstilsynet redundancies are referred to as follows:
“A termination of change is a termination of the existing employment contract, with an offer of a new agreement.”
Andersen told VG in February that she has had it tough and been sad, but did not want to go into detail about the lawsuit.
NRK has refrained from commenting, referring to the fact that they consider this a personnel matter.
The parties have tried to reach an agreement through mediation, but this failed. Thus, the main hearing will be in Oslo District Court from 18 to 21 May.
At the end of 2019, it became known that Andersen would no longer lead NRK’s chess broadcasts, for which she has received much praise.
