Line and Recoding the Developer Academy Degree Scholarship Program

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Line Indonesia has just announced the Line Developer Academy scholarship program for this year. This scholarship program was created in collaboration with Dicoding Indonesia.

Line Developer Academy is a scholarship program for Indonesian citizens who are interested in learning to build a Line Chatbot and Line Front-end Framework. This program is held free of charge and is open without conditions.

Registration for this program is open from 15 to 30 November 2020. Later, the announcement of scholarship recipients will be made on 4 December 2020 and the study period starts from the announcement until 2021.

“LINE is working together with Dicoding to encourage customers developer to develop LINE as an increasingly inclusive and broader platform for Indonesian users, especially young people, “said the Product Manager Line Indonesia, Fauzan Helmi Sudaryanto, in an official statement, Monday (16/11/2020).

For this year’s program, there are two classes opened, namely Learning to Build a Line Front-end Framework and Learning to Build a Line Chatbot. Through the Line Front-End Framework class, scholarship recipients will receive a variety of materials, from SendMessage, OpenWindow, to GetProfile.

While passing class Line Chatbot, scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to learn about Line API, such as Reply Message, Push Message, to Group / Room Chat. Information about this scholarship program can be accessed through the official Line Developer Academy website.

“By collaborating with LINE Indonesia in organizing the LINE Developer Academy 2020, we want to screen more young Indonesian talents who are interested in developing chatbot and LIFF technology on LINE so that they can help develop their knowledge and talents,” said Dicoding CEO Narenda Wicaksono.
