Line A incorporated the Free Educational Ticket

The intercity transport line A that covers the Rosario-San Nicolás route was incorporated as of this month into the Free Educational Ticket system offered by the province to students, teachers and non-teaching educational personnel. Until now, the benefit was not available in this service because it is an interprovincial transport, different from the M, which connects Rosario with Villa Constitución to the south and Ybarlucea to the north, and it was already in the system. In turn, only those who reside and study within the territory of Santa Fe can use the free ticket.

Line A connects, within the province, six towns: Villa Gobernador Gálvez, Alvear, Pueblo Esther, General Lagos, Arroyo Seco, Fighiera, Pavón, Empalme and Villa Constitución.

The Secretary of Transportation of Santa Fe, Osvaldo Miatello, and the Provincial Director of the Free Educational Ticket, Juan Rober Benegui, were present in Villa Constitución to announce, together with the local Mayor, Jorge Berti, and the Director of Education, Clara Repetto, the incorporation of line A to the program.

“We knew that it was required because it has a good service provision with a good frequency, and after many talks with the national government we were able to incorporate it into the BEG,” Miatello said.

For his part, the director of the provincial program highlighted the efforts and constant requests he received from Mayor Jorge Berti and the Directorate of Education, for which he celebrated being able to provide a positive response that will benefit a large number of passengers. In addition, he recalled that registration is still open and can be done completely digitally by entering the province’s portal or through the Educational Ticket APP on the cell phone.

Meanwhile, Repetto clarified that all those who wish to carry out the procedure and do not have internet or need advice, can go to the office to receive personalized attention. At the same time, the neighborhoods will continue to be covered, taking this information to different sectors of the city. “So far this year we have already carried out more than 30 counseling points, and with this good news we will once again visit the neighborhoods to be able to spread this great right,” Repetto emphasized.

The Free Educational Ticket is a program created by the province and intended for users of the public service of automotive passenger transport in its interurban, suburban and urban services.

Allows access to education

The objective of the benefit is to guarantee the arrival of students, teachers and educational assistants to educational establishments, thus eliminating a potential barrier to access to education.

The beneficiaries are regular students at the initial, primary, secondary, tertiary, and university levels; as well as teachers and educational assistants of educational establishments recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Province.

The requirement to access is to be a regular student of the declared educational establishments.

In the case of university students, they must have passed at least one subject the previous year, except for entrants. Both the student and the educational establishment must be domiciled in the province.

The benefit is managed by downloading the “Boleto Educativo” APP on the cell phone, or by going to www.santafe.gov.ar/boletoeducativo. To carry out the procedure, they must be previously registered in Citizen ID, if they have not already done so, they must enter www.santafe.gov.ar/idciudadana If the beneficiary is under 18 years of age, they can request the help of any adult.

The Ticket covers intercity and urban transportation, for which the beneficiary’s place of residence (whether a student, teacher or assistant) and the operation of the establishment must be accredited. The State pays two daily tickets to urban and interurban routes up to 60 kilometers away, and two per month if the journey is longer. Only urban and interurban routes for more than 60 kilometers are compatible; if not, the user will have to choose between urban or interurban of less than 60 kilometers.

If the beneficiary uses more tickets than those stipulated by the system, he can access the half ticket.
