Line 7 Service Resumed After Investigation at Grand Central – NBC New York

The 7 train was temporarily suspended between Manhattan and Queens Monday morning as New York City Police conducted an investigation at Grand Central Station.

The uniformed said that a suspicious package had been reported on a platform and the officers evacuated the place around noon. Almost two hours later, they confirmed that the investigation was over and nothing was found.

For their part, the trains on lines 4 and 6 and the Shuttle en 42 St also resumed stops, but with delays following the investigation.

No further details were released.
