This news should delight the inhabitants of the north of Bagneux and the south of Montrouge who are now less than half an hour from the heart of Paris with line 4, that is, ten minutes less than before. Over time, new terminus will also be connected to line 15 of Grand Paris and buses will be put into service!

The two new stations designed by the architect Sandrine Serouart are resolutely modern! One bears the name of the Parisian artist Barbara, buried in the cemetery of Bagneux and the new terminus pays tribute to Lucie Aubrac, the history teacher and resistance fighter during the Second World War, also born in Paris and died in Issy-les-Moulineaux.

Two new female names in addition to the seven stations also bearing the names of female personalities (out of the 302 stations in the network) dont : Louise Michel, Europe Simone Veil, Boucicaut, Pierre and Marie Curie, Madeleine, Thistle-Lagache, and Barbès – Rochechouart.

The line 4 extension project is finally seeing the light of day and users will be able to set foot on the new stations as of Thursday, January 13!

If you take public transport regularly, and in particular the metro, you must surely know Serge the rabbit! We tell you his story here!
