Lindsay Lohan marries a man from Dubai, still shy about family

Lindsay Lohan decided to get married Bader Shammas, a Muslim from Dubai. The wedding took place in mid-2022 after they were previously engaged in November 2021. Now officially the wife of Bader Shammas, Lindsay Lohan is still shy about talking about her family.

He admitted it while participating in the TV show The Drew Barrymore. Lindsay Lohan appeared to blush when host at the time, Ross Matthews, spoke about her marriage and husband.

“I’m still embarrassed to talk about it,” admitted Lindsay Lohan, who was appearing in a lilac dress at the time.

“I think because of the excitement, like, I have a life partner now and I’m very protective of our relationship in our own way. I’m just getting into this phase,” the Mean Girls actor continued.

On the same occasion, Lindsay Lohan also announced her decision to keep the wedding a secret. She and Bader Shammas wed in April 2022 and only announced their marriage months later.

Lindsay Lohan admits keeping this marriage a secret is hard. Because her husband asked her to marry him while he was shooting her latest film which is now airing on Netflix, Falling for Christmas.

“The difficult thing about keeping this a secret is because he proposed to me on the set of Falling for Christmas, not during filming but at the same location as filming. I didn’t tell anyone because I didn’t want to distract them from work. I refrained from doing so. He talks about the proposal while there is also a proposal scene in the film. It’s so hard! I can’t do it! he confided.

Lindsay Lohan also revealed that from the first time she met Bader Shammas, she was sure that this man would become her husband. She was so sure that her lover at the time thought he was crazy.

Bader Shammas is known for working as a financial expert. He holds the position of assistant vice president at Credit Suisse, one of the world’s leading Swiss investment banks and investment management firms.

So far, Lindsay Lohan says she is so comfortable living in Dubai. She said she was much more comfortable there.

“I think it’s because paparazzi are illegal there,” the 35-year-old actress told Vogue.

“I have found a private life and I can dedicate time to myself. I decided to stay there because I learned to appreciate what happened, do my job, leave it and live a normal life,” added Lindsay Lohan.
