Netflix sees something in Lohan, reviewers are not all positive
It was announced in March of this year that Lohan has signed a deal with Netflix to make three films, including Fall for Christmas the first. In the romantic comedy, Lohan plays a wealthy heiress who loses her memory after a winter sports accident.
It remains to be seen if it will also be the return of dreams. The reviews are not all positive. The Hollywood Reporter it burns both the movie and Lohan’s acting.
But the highlights of his messy career have mostly been due to the right roles rather than his acting talent. Fall for Christmas there is little difference between his pampered persona at the beginning and his developed persona towards the end. It’s mainly his clothes that are supposed to show the viewer the difference.”
Luckily for Lohan it is Variety much more free. “Lohan’s character might be a little flat in lesser hands, but the actress plays with humor and vulnerability and verve. She’s hilarious when she has to play her completely insufferable character.”
Lohan has two more Netflix movies to win over all the critics.
