Lindsay Lohan gets starring in Netflix movie – VG

It’s been a long time since Lohan has been in the spotlight for her performances on TV and cinema screens, but now she has secured the lead role in a new romantic comedy on Netflix.

Netflix even reports the news on Twitter, where they announce during a selfie by Lohan that the 34-year-old will fill the role of a newly engaged hotel heir.

The challenges for the character arise when she loses her memory in a ski accident just before Christmas Eve, and a strange man and his little adult daughter have to take care of her.

Who Lohan will play against is not known. It’s a long way ahead anyway. Fans must wait until Christmas 2022 before they can see the result, reports Fox News.

Lohan herself has not had time to comment on the assignment, but three days ago she posted this picture from Dubai, where she secretly wrote: «The beginning of something …»:

Lohan made his acting debut as an 11-year-old in “Foreldrefellen” and can later boast box office successes such as “Mean Girls” and “Herbie: Full Tank”. She has also released several pop albums.

In recent years, however, both the acting and music careers have gone downhill, and the successes have failed.

Among other things, the erotic thriller “The Canyons” was stamped as a solid flop after the opening weekend in 2017. The reality series “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club” received the stroke of mercy after only one season on MTV two years later.

The star has received all the more attention for his escapades in private. Lohan was for a period in and out of court, zoned behind the walls, been admitted for drug addiction and quarreled with his father, med the mother and partners.
