The singer says that she was born in Cēsis, as a person, but in Talsos, as a musician. Both cities are places of her happy childhood, each in its own way.

Talsi evokes memories of the apple garden of the high school, the Great Street and the event poster, ELVeber’s musical performance on the night of tokens, wading across the meadow at the dawn of the prom night to the lake, a smoked beer garden and four “taimi” for 5 lats on Thursdays, the festival of Nordic songs, the victory of “Dziesma manai generation” at school and in a TV competition, shows of choirs and ensembles, first love and a song written on my brother’s guitar.
“Place and people are the soil where you plant your seeds and grow into what you are meant to be, and these cities warmed and shone on my creative seed,” says Linda.
The photo depicting the Cēsis period shows Linda at the age of four, while the picture showing the time in Talso was taken at the age of 17.
