Jakarta –
Linda Pujiastuti alias Anita admitted that she had gone to a methamphetamine factory in Taiwan with the former West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Teddy Minahasa. Linda revealed the ‘Buy 1 Get 1’ code that Teddy had offered to the methamphetamine factory.
This was conveyed by Linda when she was examined as a defendant in a drug trial at the West Jakarta District Court, Wednesday (15/3/2023). Teddy is also a defendant in this case, but the two are being tried in separate files.
Initially, Linda was asked by her lawyer, Adriel Viari Purba, about Teddy’s statement in the BAP stating that Linda had invited him to Taiwan. Linda said they went to the crystal meth factory after the operation in the South China Sea failed.
“In the BAP, the witness Teddy Minahasa is in the file for the accused Linda. Teddy expressed frustration with Linda’s mother being conned in Brunei and in the South China Sea. Then, may I quote, Your Honor, ‘Later, both of me were invited to Taiwan and found a Factory there’. The question is, to Taiwan and to the factory for what purpose?” Adriel asked Linda.
“To the crystal meth,” Linda answered.
Linda then revealed the ‘Buy 1 Get 1’ code that Teddy had offered to the methamphetamine factory. This means that the factory can send methamphetamine, but some of the goods must be caught.
“So when I failed in the China Sea, I already apologized, he said like this, ‘Do you know the airport over there?’ aja, we go there. If they want to send us to escort’, ‘What do you mean Mr. Teddy?’, ‘Yes, say aja buy 1 get 1‘, he said so,” Linda explained.
“Yes, I’ll give them a call first, I’ll ask first, for example, for example, if Mr. X wants to send 1 ton to Indonesia, so 1 ton passes, we catch 1 ton. But Mr. Teddy doesn’t want it, so if 1 ton is sent here, Mr. Teddy ask for fee 100 billion. So I went there to meet Mr. X, at that time I met 3 times in Taiwan with Mr. Teddy,” he continued.
Teddy is also called asking fee Rp 100 billion per 1 ton of methamphetamine that is passed to Indonesia. However, this was not agreed upon because it was considered too expensive.
“If 1 ton Pak Teddy asked for Tp 100 billion, because at that time it was too expensive, in the end it didn’t work,” said Linda.
Adriel then asked if there were any witnesses who saw the two of them go to the methamphetamine factory in Taiwan. Linda said she was going alone. However, it was acknowledged that it was recorded in Linda’s passport.
“Can mom prove it in the passport?” asked Adriel.
“Please have your passport, once I gave it, I went alone three times with Mr. Teddy Minahasa,” said Linda.
