Lincoln announced the premiere of the new crossover Nautilus :: Autonews

Lincoln has published teaser of the updated crossover Nautilus, which replaced the MKX model in the line of the American brand. The premiere of the car will take place on November 20, 2020, and its sales will start in 2021.

The company has not yet provided details about the upgraded crossover, but it can be assumed that the main changes will affect the interior. Earlier, a photo of the Nautilus interior was published on the Internet, which shows that the car will receive a completely different front panel with a modified climate system control unit and a separate display-tablet of the multimedia complex.

In general, the interior, which is decorated with polished aluminum and wood, will be made in the style of the “older” Lincoln crossovers – Aviator and Navigator.

As expected, the technical filling will not undergo changes. The updated Lincoln Nautilus will be offered with a two-liter supercharged “four”, developing 253 hp. and 380 Nm of torque, as well as with a 2.7-liter V6 with two turbines producing 340 forces (515 Nm). Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The list of electronic assistance systems will include adaptive cruise control with a front collision warning system and a pedestrian recognition function, as well as a system for monitoring “blind” zones and keeping the lane.

Earlier it became known that Lincoln, part of the American concern Ford, does not plan to enter the European market… The premium brand will focus on the US home market as well as sales in China.
