Limmat Swim: Sabina Widmer Simitovic and Andrea Mozzini Vellen Emerge as Winners

The Limmat Swim was traditionally opened with the ewz Challenge. In the women’s race, Sabina Widmer Simitovic confirmed her victory from last year with 22 minutes 23 seconds just ahead of Pascale Rovers, who was two seconds behind, as the organizers announced. Andrea Mozzini Vellen won the men’s race in 19 minutes 54 seconds – one second ahead of last year’s winner Felix Beckers.

City councilor Karin Rykart (Greens) and city councilor Daniel Leupi (Greens) were among the swimmers. Apart from minor injuries, the event was accident-free.
