NTUC youth organisation nEbO has partnered with non-profit Limitless Singapore to launch a mental health support programme for young people. The Peer Supporters Programme will teach participants to be a “listening ear” for their peers and to identify early symptoms of stress and anxiety, preventing issues from escalating to the point where professional help is required. The 15-hour training scheme aims to raise awareness of mental wellness and contributes to the conversation on mental health and wellness. Other similar Singaporean programmes include national-level movements Beyond The Label and It’s OKAY to Reach Out, and the Community Peer Supporter programme run by Youth Corps Singapore.
Limitless Singapore collaborates with nEbO to introduce a peer support programme called Youths Supporting Youths.
