Limited Time Offer: Deutsche Bahn Tickets for €9.90 on select routes in Germany

For a limited time, Deutsche Bahn is again offering reduced fares. This time there are domestic German journeys in the ICE, IC & EC from just €9.90 per direction if you book by July 31st at the latest.

On paper, these are the cheapest saver fares (for long-distance travel) that have ever existed. In fact, the offer is less attractive than the last deals of this kind. Because Tickets for €9.90 are only available on very short routes. For many routes that were still available for €12.90 in March, the price has now been increased to €14.90.

Holders of a Bahncard 25 (or 50) also receive a 25% discount here, so that prices start at €7.40 per direction.

As usual, the saver prices are not available for all connections during the day, but only for those that are less busy. The following applies: The earlier you book, the higher the chance of cheap tickets. On Dresden ↔ Leipzig there are still good availability for the next weekend, for example:

• Tickets for 2nd class are available for €9.90 or €14.90
• Theoretically, there should also be tickets for 1st class from €22.90 – but we couldn’t find any
• Only applies to long-distance transport, not in connection with feeder trains in regional transport
