Limited edition “Black Unity Collection” of Apple Watch Series 6 announced by Apple for Black History Month in February. This is on sale today (February 1, 2021). The case (body material) is aluminum and the price is 42,800 yen (excluding tax), which is the same as a normal aluminum case + sports band, and it is said to be sold until the end of February 2021.
Relation: Apple Watch Series 6 Black Unity will be on sale from February 1st
Design with pan-African flag as a motif
The Black Unity Collection is said to have been designed with inspiration from the tricolor flag, which is a symbol of Pan-Africanism.
The case (main body) is space gray aluminum itself, the color and texture are exactly the same, the only difference in appearance is that the sensor is engraved.
The included Black Unity sports band is compressed by hand combining three color elastomers. Therefore, the border line is not as straight as drawn with a ruler.
Black Unity sports band available later this year
The same Black Unity sports band that comes with the limited edition is now available separately for 4800 yen (40mm / 44mm respectively).
From the color of the band, I think the case will match black or red. If you are using a different case, you may want to use a third-party cover to match the colors.
