Other Limburgers on the nomination list missed out on the prizes on Friday evening. In the Drama Series category, the series ‘The Dream of Youth’, with actor Joes Brauers from Bocholtz in one of the leading roles, had a chance to win a Golden Calf. Director Theu Boermans from Venlo was nominated in the categories Best film and Best direction with his film Zee van Tijd. The film was also nominated in three other categories: Best Camera, Best Sound Design and Best Music. In the Best Music category, Jorrit Kleijnen from Kerkrade was also among the nominations with When I saw you, a film by director Ben Verbong from Tegelen.
