According to Umé, the technology has already proved its worth. “In time it will be possible to put on a completely synthetic Elvis: the body, the voice, the way he moves and the timbre of his voice,” he says. “We will be able to put a hyper-realistic Elvis on stage with a hologram or other means. People who have never seen him will be able to experience a performance of him.”
Just like during the semifinal, the jury was very impressed. “Simon Cowell once again said that this was the best act on the show for him,” says Umé enthusiastically. “And that Las Vegas is up for grabs regardless of whether we win or not. Heidi (edited by Klum) said we were her favorite act. It’s absurd to be here in the final and hear the judges say things like that.
