“Thanks to Anya Pencheva for the respect for me and my work.” This was the exclamation of the prima donna of Bulgarian pop music Lili Ivanova for one of the icons of our native cinema and theater.
The reason for the singer’s gratitude to her is a recent interview with Pencheva, in which the star of “Time Apart” admits that she last cried at the concerts from the end of 2021 of Ivanova in Sofia, writes “Monitor”.
“Lily comes out – a beautiful statuette and at the same time magnificent. And the whole audience gets on their feet! I had the feeling that it would be terribly rude if I sat down. I wanted to bow to this great woman,” she told bTV about her experience.
For her part, the singer of “Cricket” wished her health, happiness and success.
In the interview, Pencheva also commented on the case of the vaccinated MPs from Vazrazhdane, who are against the green certificates.
“The main quality you have to have to be in politics is morality,” she said, adding that she also had offers for a career in politics.
“I have received an offer to be an MP, caretaker Minister of Culture, cultural attaché abroad and vice president. It is so ridiculous for an artist to swear allegiance to the party!” She said.
