Lily Ivanova is adamant when she makes a decision for someone in her life and no matter what the circumstances, she does not change it. Thus, years ago, the primate of the native popular music turned its back on Dragomir Draganov, who had previously been one of her closest friends.
For 15 years, the singer has not wanted to hear a word about the TV presenter, whom she no longer allows to her close environment, of which he was accustomed to be a part for many years in the 90s and at the beginning of the new century.
Drago Draganov was supposed to be the host of the two special programs of BNT, dedicated to Lili Ivanova at the end of April on the occasion of her birthday. They passed under the cap of the column “BNT at 60”, whose host and author is him, but to the surprise of the viewers Drago Chaya did not appear in both editions in honor of the singer – neither as a person nor as a announcer.
On the primate’s birthday – April 24, as well as on April 25, BNT broadcast two special programs with the songs of Lili Ivanova, in which nearly 60 of her emblematic songs were played. The original idea was Drago Draganov to invite the star to the studio of “BNT at 60”, thus the national television paid tribute to her talent and to note the fact that Lily has been on top for 60 years and does not intend to leave it, writes “Weekend.”
However, the star flatly refused the invitation and therefore the authors of the show had to change the script – Drago to make a retrospective behind the scenes of her professional and life path, while her unforgettable songs sound on the air. However, this plan also failed because Ivanova learned and personally called the director general of BNT Emil Koshlukov with the explicit request that Dragomir Draganov not be the host of the programs for her birthday, otherwise she would withdraw the rights to her songs.
In 2005, Lili Ivanova ended her long-standing friendship with Drago Draganov, which was one of the most emblematic in the domestic show business. Without any explanation, she stopped picking up his phone, and the TV presenter is convinced that someone has intrigued between him and the suspicious singer.
