08/03/2022 08:03:55 Lilly has announced that it has made available to patients at www.lilly.es, in the Science section, a multitude of information of interest and useful materials that are accessible and downloadable on various pathologies, specifically, on psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, breast cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis and psoriasis.
The fact that Lilly has opened the materials of its Patient Support Programs (PSP) to all patients responds to the fulfillment of one of the 14 commitments acquired with their interest groups, within the framework of dialogue exercises in which the methodology of the co-creation tables was used.
It was the health professionals themselves who suggested that this quality information produced by pharmaceutical companies and which they usually send to patients through health professionals, be available in a place accessible to the whole of society, in order to help patients and their environment to better understand their disease.
“As a result of this dialogue, and accepting the challenge proposed by our stakeholders, at Lilly we are committed to promoting and expanding self-care training accessible to patients in Spain. Today we are happy to be able to say that we have fulfilled this commitment and it is now a reality at Lilly.es, which we hope will help you live better”, he indicates. Nabil Daoud, President of Lilly Spain.

The new sections for patients include, among other content, day-to-day recommendations focused on healthy eating habits and dietary advice to manage the adverse effects of oncolytic treatments in the case of patients with breast cancer; recipes for people with diabetes with a decalogue for proper nutrition in the diabetes section or information on risk factors and tips for information on risk factors to avoid episodes of rheumatoid arthritis or psoriatic arthritis.
Likewise, in the chapters on psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis we find recommendations on these diseases for patients and relatives as well as advice on sleep and psoriatic arthritis, or information on pregnancy and lactation in rheumatoid arthritis, while in the sections on osteoporosis and psoriasis we can access postural recommendations and on prevention of falls or advice to manage itching, respectively.
