Throughout the weekend, Ligue 1 clubs participate in the 23rd finals of the Coupe de France. This Saturday, the LOSC received theAJ Auxerre, resident of Ligue 2.
In the fight for the rise in Ligue 1, theAJ Auxerre had decided to ignore this competition by aligning an alternate team. For its part, the LOSC, carried by its qualification in the Champions League, presented itself with his best elements.
And unsurprisingly, Lille crushed Auxerre. From the first half, the match was folded with goals fromAngel Gomes (23e), Jonathan David (34th) and Clever Celik (39e).
Shortly after the return from the locker room, Auxerre saved the honor by Remy Dugimont but this goal did not change the face of the match. The Lille domination was total but the Mastiffs missed many opportunities: David (52e, 58e), Yilmaz (54e), Yazici (pole, 79th).
With this easy success, Lille qualifies for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France and will be engaged on all fronts in 2022.
