In regulation time, the French team won 2:1, eliminating the handicap received in the first match (1:2).
Yusuf Yazici and Benjamin Andre scored for the hosts, and Matty Cash scored the saving goal for the guests in the 87th minute
Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez saved two shots in the penalty shootout, and the Birmingham team won the match.
Aston Villa will face the winner of the confrontation between Olympiacos and Fenerbahce in the semi-finals of the Conference League.
